Do I have to use the app to install the self-installing car seat?
The 4moms app is required for initial auto installation. Use of the 4moms app is optional after the initial installation is complete.
Is the 4moms app compatible with any smartphone?

Why is the self-installing car seat appearing on my mobile device as “Snap!” in my list of paired devices?
“Snap!” is the internal 4moms project name assigned to the self-installing car seat.
Will the 4moms app work with other 4moms products? If so, which ones?
The 4moms app offers product registration and product information for the entire line of 4moms products along with easy access to 4moms Customer Care. The app also enables enhanced product experiences for Bluetooth enabled products including the mamaRoo infant seat, the 4moms self-installing car seat, and the moxi stroller (available October 2016). The app is available for select iOS and Android smart devices.
Does the 4moms self-installing car seat have wireless features beyond connecting to a smartphone? Should I be worried about people hacking my car seat?
The 4moms self-installing car seat uses Bluetooth LE, which means it can only connect within a limited range. Additionally, we have designed an encrypted connection protocol to protect against tampering.
When a baby is reaching the maximum weight or height limit will the car seat alert parents so they can prepare to replace their child’s seat?
Yes, the 4moms app provides personalized fit information, as well as alerts when the child is outgrowing the seat. By entering the baby’s height, weight, and age, the app will project the child’s growth and notify the parent when the child is approaching the maximum height and weight limit for the seat.
