Is the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing approved for overnight sleeping?
No. Since it is neither a flat surface (there is always a slight recline) or a firm surface, as recommended by pediatricians, we cannot recommend that it be used for overnight sleep.
Are there any 3rd party accessories that I can use with my 4moms product?
No. 4moms does not support the use of any 3rd party accessories, as they have not been tested by 4moms and could pose a potential safety risk. Only use accessories manufactured and sold directly by 4moms.
Can I use the Babocush and mamaRoo infant seat together?
No. The mamaRoo infant seat has not been safety tested for use with the Babocush, and we do not recommend the Babocush or any other third party brand of attachment or accessory be used with the mamaRoo infant seat.
Where can I purchase spare / replacement parts for the mamaRoo infant seat?
You can find them by clicking here. Please note the mamaRoo infant seat spare /replacement parts are model specific.
How long can my baby stay in the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing throughout the day?
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends babies shouldn't be in a swing more than 30 minutes at a time. If your baby falls asleep in the mamaRoo infant seat we recommend moving the baby to a separate approved sleep surface, such as a crib, playard or bassinet.
Because the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing is neither a flat surface (there is always a slight recline) or a firm surface as recommended by the AAP, the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing is not an approved sleep surface.
Is the newborn insert required for use with the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing?
No. The newborn insert is not required for use; however, you may choose to use it because it does provide extra support for the baby. The newborn insert is designed to give babies the swaddling feeling that some newborns prefer.
Is there an age or size limit for the newborn insert?
No. The newborn insert can be used from birth until the baby no longer prefers it.
Do I have to register my MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing?
No, but it is recommended that you register it. 4moms does extensive testing above and beyond that required by law. However, if through some unforeseen circumstance we need to issue a recall we ask that you please register your product. We have three easy ways for you to register: fill out the enclosed registration card and mail it back, register using the 4moms App or register online here.
