Why was the vibration mode removed from the MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet?
Due to COVID-19, our manufacturing sites were shut down for extended periods of time. We have been working hard to ramp up our production efforts over the last few months, and keep up with the mamaRoo sleep bassinet demand. The vibration function, which has caused an unintended noise in some units, continued to delay production. In an effort to maintain our high quality standards, we made the decision to remove the vibration function from the current model.
Our goal is, and always has been, to create dramatically better products that solve real parenting problems, like getting your little one to sleep. The mamaRoo sleep bassinet moves like you do to help comfort and soothe your baby to sleep.
Will you be bringing the vibration mode back?
While there is no plan to bring the vibration function back, our product development team always seeks to improve our product features to delight little ones and their parents. We take feedback from our consumers seriously, and will continue to make updates to the mamaRoo sleep bassinet that meet our rigorous product quality standards.
Can I still purchase a MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet with the vibration mode?
No. mamaRoo sleep bassinet units no longer have the vibration functionality. There are manufacturing issues specific to the vibration feature, which were further complicated by the ongoing pandemic and supply chain delays, that did not meet our high quality standards.
If my MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet still has vibration, is it safe to use?
Yes, the vibration mode is safe to use in models where it is available.
The vibration icon is not in my 4moms App? What happened?
We recently updated our MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet App functionality. Our new mamaRoo sleep models do not include a vibration mode, so we’ve removed the icon from the app to reduce confusion. We apologize for any inconvenience.
If your unit still has the vibration mode, you will still see the icon on the bassinet panel, and will be able to turn the vibration mode on and off from this location.
How to pair your MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet using the 4moms App.
There are two ways to pair your phone to the MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet, and it depends on what your UI panel looks like. So, let’s turn on your unit. If you only see a sound icon (music note), please follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Download the 4moms app to your phone or tablet
Step 2: Create your 4moms account, or if you have one already, simply log into your account.
Step 3: Click on the MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet image, then click “Connect.” The app will find your bassinet.
Step 4: Pair the bassinet with your phone. To do this, hold down the sound button icon (music note) for 3 seconds, until the Bluetooth icon flashes near the power button.
Step 5: Check your phone and it will notify you when the pairing has been successful. [add resources when available & figure out how to distinguish between the 2 units for pairing]
