General Usage
How to change display from Fahrenheit to Celsius
Make sure that the tub is turned off. Press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds. The screen will flash and beep, and then display the alternate temperature scale. To turn back, repeat this process.
Plastic chemical composition
The infant tub is made of polypropylene. Polypropylene can be found commonly in household items including food storage containers, does not contain harmful chemicals, and is BPA free.
Dimensions
The cleanwater tub is designed to fit standard-sized kitchen sinks and can also be used in most adult bathtubs.
The approximate dimensions for the cleanwater tub are 31.5” long, 16.5” wide, and 8.25” tall. The part that fits into the sink itself is only 19” long from end to end with an area to account for a double sink.
Setting Up
1. The cleanwater™ tub can be used in either the sink or the adult bathtub, depending on the growth stage of your baby. If you are using the tub in your sink, upon placement, gently press on the sides of the tub to ensure that it is resting securely on the sink. If you are using the tub in an adult bathtub, upon placement, make sure that the tub is secure and well positioned.
2. Always be sure that water is passing through the reservoir and over the thermistor in front of the tub so that the thermometer is taking accurate temperature readings.
3. If the screen turns red or begins beeping, this is indicating that the water is too hot. Adjust the temperature of the water on your faucet until the top stops beeping and the screen is no longer red
4. There is an imprint of two small feet in the plastic near the thermometer, highlighting where your baby’s feet should be positioned.
Do I have to keep the water running the entire time?
No. If you prefer to conserve water, you can close the drain plugs and fill both the tub and water reservoir. Allow the water to run over the thermistor to find the perfect temperature, then close the drain plug and fill up the tub and reservoir. Once filled, turn off the faucet and use the excess water from the reservoir to wash/rinse your baby. When finished, simply open the drain plug to release the water from the tub.
