Troubleshooting

 

I cannot adjust the height of the high chair (models 1031 and 1036).

The seat is not designed to move up and down loosely. It will require some force and it may be necessary to step on the horizontal extrusion (step) to gain leverage when moving the seat up and down. 

How to remove the tray

Make sure that the button under the tray is depressed. Slide the entire release handle toward the front of the tray and lift.

The buckles do not stay secured together. / The buckles separate too easily.

For safety reasons, the buckle was designed so that it could easily break away, avoiding a potential strangulation hazard.

The tray doesn't stay secured to the seat. 

The magnets are designed to guide the tray into place.  Ensure that the mechanical latches on both sides are fully engaged. 

I cannot remove the foam seat insert. 

Gently pull each set of straps and buckles (two shoulder, two waist and lower buckle) through the foam seat insert individually.  The foam seat insert will then lift out.
